Coming soon to the Depot! Thanks in part to a City of Canby Community Enhancement Grant and in part to a grant from the Oregon Heritage Commission, Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, The Canby Historical Society is making their oral history collection more accessible. Over the years, the Canby Historical Society has recorded almost 50 oral histories but only twenty-three have been transcribed. Using grant funding, the CHS has hired a local transcription service to complete the work. When this is done, sometime early next year, all of the transcripts will be available in a binder in the front area of the Depot. These personal remembrances are filled with information about Canby's history.
