My great grandparents were early homesteaders and life-long residents in what became Cottage Grove, grandfather was the Aurora Colony Apothecary, father was mayor of Canby.  I grew up here and recently became a board member in the historical society.  A lot of my mother’s childhood furniture is on display at the Aurora Museum.
